Design
We consider the unique requirements of your space and your users and recommend appropriate networking equipment and configuration. Every network we design is blazingly fast, has rock-solid reliability and is great value. Even with specialist requirements, we can custom design a network for you.
Installation
Whatever the network, we can plug it in and make it happen. Our installation engineers can quickly and efficiently connect and configure any network equipment we specify in our design. If your space doesn't already have basic structured cabling (aka Cat5 / Cat6 / ethernet cabling), then we can recommend partners to install the wiring too.
Monitoring and Maintenance
Every network needs regular attention - we have automated a lot of the work of making sure your network stays running smoothly and keeping your network up-to-date with the latest security updates so we can provide the highest quality network monitoring and maintenance at a great price.
Support
Things go wrong unexpectedly - and you need to keep working! With a direct line to our top network technicians, you will always receive the fastest and best service from our engineers. Any problems you have will get resolved quickly with guaranteed response times and fix times.
Our Philosophy
Honest, transparent pricing
We don't add hidden pricing by marking up the networking equipment you buy. In fact, any network equipment we recommend, you can purchase either through us or directly from any retailer like Amazon or BroadbandBuyer. Our design and installation work is priced transparently and fairly - so you know exactly what you'll be paying up front to go from zero to completion of the job. You can choose to have your network supported with work on an hourly rate or with a guaranteed monthly support, monitoring and maintenance contract - and both types of work are priced straightforwardly and reasonably.
Reliability is our top priority
The more reliable your network is, the less time we spend each month supporting you when you have problems - and the better it is for you and us! If you have a problem with your network, we will aim to fix it permanently the first time it happens. If you have a problem that keeps occurring because of your unique situation - your space, your specific requirements or your users - then we will provide you with easy-to-use software tools so that your team can fix or mitigate the problem without having to rely on us. Whatever happens, we want to keep your network running.
Good value, not cheap
We only recommend, install and support professional-grade networking equipment from manufacturers we trust. This equipment will be significantly cheaper than some equipment other providers recommend, but that doesn't mean it's any less reliable, secure or fast. Great networking equipment is a commodity technology now and manufacturing the best equipment has dramatically reduced in cost over the last ten years. Some manufacturers rely on their name and don't pass on those cost savings to their customers. We don't work with those manufacturers.

About
Pork Pie Wifi was founded by Tom Bull in 2012 in response to flaky, slow WiFi networks in shared workspaces in London. The thinking: if nobody else is going to improve my internet connection, then I'd better just learn how to do it myself. Ever since working on the first networks for free and learning how to implement the basics of a fast, reliable network, I have been responsible for networks that delight their users with speed and reliability. Since 2017, I've worked with colleagues to deliver the same great experiences on a scale beyond the capabilities of just one person.
